Monday, September 19, 2016, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 Board of Directors held a Joint Meeting with the Town of Trophy Club Town Council to discuss the administration of Trophy Club Fire Department. After extensive review and with due diligence the District’s Board of Directors and Town Council reached an agreement that the Town of Trophy Club will administer operations of the Trophy Club Fire Department. Both the District and the Town see the benefits of having the department operate under one entity; however, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 will maintain ownership of the Trophy Club Fire Department, approve the budget and set the tax rate. Effective October 1, 2016, fire operations will solely report to the Town.

Rosie Sends Trophy Club Fire Department A Special Thanks

The Hernandez family sent a special note of gratitude to the Trophy Club Fire Department on behalf of Rosie, Service Dog in Training for rescuing her from a locked vehicle. It sounds like Rosie is a pretty amazing dog:

“Rosie wanted to send a personal note of pure gratitude for rescuing her tonight.   She is a service dog in training that locked herself in the car while her trainer was pumping gas.   Unfortunately wags of the tail and sweet doggie kisses don’t translate well in an email,  so I will do it for her. It wasn’t terribly hot today but she was already starting to pant even in the very short time it took your wonderful fireman/paramedics to arrive. Thank you from the entire Hernandez household. Rosie is a very special girl that has helped her young boy mitigate his disability and brings such hope to his future.”

Glad to provide you with service, Rosie. The Hernandez family is blessed to have you. Like us, your job is extremely important and we wish you continued success with your training.
